I am so excited that you are here and honored that you are interested in doing a boudoir session with me. It is one of the most fun things to shoot, and I hope that you take the leap!
My boudoir style prioritizes sensuality over sexuality by using painted light and photographing details that bring a breathtaking sense of intimacy. I also believe in empowering females and with every boudoir shoot I aim to boost your self-confidence and make you feel completely beautiful inside and out.
I understand the level of trust that goes into participating in an experience like this, and I am here to answer any questions and eliminate any concerns that you may have! Whenever I pick up my camera, I strive to create beautiful images that will also have an incredible experience attached.
Please let me know if you have any questions as you walk through my collection options and if you wish for me to create a custom quote for you!

Booking a boudoir session can be intimidating. I understand. I did a boudoir session of my own and I chose my photographer because of her experience and I trusted her with my images. That is why during this booking process, I would love to start with chat!
During this time, we can discuss your expectations, and I can understand why you have decided to participate in a boudoir shoot. That way, we can be on the same page and get comfortable with each other from the start. Forming a relationship based on a mutual respect and trust will only benefit your boudoir experience.
WHAT TO EXPECT – 1 of 5
I am here to be a resource for you beyond photography. I will recommend possible outfits and locations that will help make your vision come true and meet the expectations you have for your session.
However, the best advice that I can give you is to again, just take the leap and go all in on shoot day. The best way to get the most out of this experience is to have fun with it!
WHAT TO EXPECT – 2 of 5
Your shoot prep will start with my detailed boudoir guide. It will walk you though my extended tips, as well as my outfit and location ideas.
Then, we will discuss any specific details that you might have in mind so we can discuss and plan if you wish to include any props. I am here for you!
WHAT TO EXPECT – 3 of 5
This will start with your hair and makeup. If it’s not too early of a day, maybe we’ll add in a little mimosa. This is where we can start getting to know each other even better.
Then, we’ll go through your outfits and decide which one to shoot in first. After that, we will turn up some music and get started shooting!
WHAT TO EXPECT – 4 of 5
You can expect your photos to be delivered via an online gallery within 4 to 5 weeks of your boudoir session, I take pride in every single one of the images that I deliver and want to make sure that I am keeping my word in the process.
While this might seem like an extended period of time to wait for your images, I build in extra time for my film lab development if I shoot film during our session, and any special touches my images may need. And please note, when your images are delivered, they will be ready right then to be printed.
At the time of delivery, I will also send over extended details about your “little black book” album through your collection’s included album.

A lot of my boudoir clients are shooting to create a book for their significant other as a wedding gift. Collection One includes a high quality and professionally designed album. It is a beautiful and timeless, lay perfectly flat and look incredible for you and/or your partner.
If you wish to order an album or make any album upgrades after your shoot or during the design process, we can make that happen. Albums typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete and include three rounds of revisions.
All of my collections include professional hair and makeup. I find this time before the session officially begins to be beneficial for both you and me so we can get to know each other better. I also like to have professional hair and makeup for just a touch of extra drama.
If you want to forego the professional hair and makeup and do it yourself, it will not change the price of the collection. Professional hair and makeup can also extend to body makeup if necessary. Covering up any random bruises that might pop up randomly (this happened to me before my session) and adding a slight body shimmer that enhances the light, which saves me time in post-production.
Because I have included hair and makeup, the total time of the session will last up to 4 hours, with about an hour of hair and makeup and up to 2 hours of shooting. I have included a slight buffer as well just in case we have the music blasted and possibly lose track of time.
No. I love empowering ALL females, so ALL females are welcome here. No matter your age, shape, color or sexuality. If you want to shoot with me, I am very much up for it.
Not without your permission. Your privacy is of the upmost importance to me. As you know, I shoot both film and digital; when shooting film, the exposed rolls get sent off to my lab, which means they would leave my hands to be processed. So, it is really up to your level of comfort. If there are instances where you are either unrecognizable because your face is covered with hair and there isn’t anything private showing and you are comfortable with me shooting film, I would take that opportunity to shoot film (ie. you sitting on the bed with your back to me). Digital files never leave my hands. The more intimate photos and poses are shot on digital so I know exactly where they are. The files are uploaded to my personal laptop, edited privately in my office, then sent directly to you in a password online gallery. No photos will be posted on social media or shared on my website or with potential clients without your permission. Again, your privacy is of the upmost importance to me and I will talk with you before and during the session to make sure that your privacy is protected at all times.
I keep all of my galleries on backup hard drives for a period of time, and they will sit there where nobody will touch them. If you chose to have me design and print an album for you, I will design the album online with a company I have used for many projects, where it will printed and then shipped to either you or me. Then that will be the end of the road for your photos.
No. I like to shoot all of my sessions, especially boudoir with me and the person that I am shooting. I feel like people are most open and willing to be vulnerable when it is just us having a good time.
Let’s talk about this one. I shoot boudoir to celebrate the bodies we have in whatever shape we are in. I truly believe you are beautiful in your most natural form! So, I will not use photoshop to make you look skinnier or edit out any “imperfections” or “flaws.” I use photoshop to get rid of little, unforeseen blemishes. Like a bump that might have shown up the day before the shoot. I like to keep my work as natural looking and true to self as possible. With that being said, let’s talk about how posing during shoot works.
Everyone has their favorite and least favorite qualities about themselves. I start my shoots by asking what these qualities are for you. That way I can navigate angles and poses so they are the most flattering and I can capture you in a way that enhances your body and promotes self-confidence. I have lots of poses in my arsenal that will create beautiful images, but if you see a pose that you really love and want to try out during our shoot, please let me know! I like to get read the energy of the room and talk with my clients beforehand to really understand what they’re looking to get out of their shoot as well.
Boudoir is super fun to shoot. I like to have professional hair and makeup done for my clients because it gives us a chance to chat and get to know each other before we get started, so we feel like friends from the very beginning. Once I get to know you and your expectations I turn on some music and we get started on some really easy poses that transition nicely into more intimate poses. I will be there to guide you the whole way, while respecting your privacy as much as possible so it doesn’t feel awkward.
Thank you so much for considering me to document your boudoir session. If you’re interested in working with me, the next step is to set up a time to chat and then we will move onto the dates and contract. You can reach me directly at courtney@creativeninetythree.com
